For children who have completed ski school or who are already race training with a ski clubs. A great opportunity to ski on closed training pistes in the mornings then have a blast with your parents in the afternoons!

Sessions will last 4 hours including warm-ups with specific and targeted technical drills, followed by training in different courses each day working on line and tactics.  A  great opportunity to have fun in the mountains, prepare for ski races and improve all round skiing ability. 

If conditions do not allow for gate training, 4 hours of focused technical skiing will still happen, exploring different terrain and pistes in the Portes Du Soleil. 

For instructors training towards their ISIA speed test, eurotest and technical exams. Sessions will last approx 4 hours per day including warm-ups with specific and targeted technical drills, followed by race training simulations in different courses each day working on line and tactics.  A  great opportunity to train for your technical exams as well as build your confidence and skills to pass the ISIA speed or Eurotest. 

If conditions do not allow for gate training, 4 hours of focused technical skiing will still happen, exploring different terrain and pistes in the ski area.

Take advantage of training on the same slope that will be used for the Anglo Scottish, Welsh and interschools championships.  The plan if conditions allow, will be 2 days of Giant Slalom training, 1 day of Slalom training, followed by 2 days of Slalom racing and 1 final day of GS racing. 

Training days: 2nd-4th January 

Meet at the bottom of the Les Crosets chair at 0845.  Gate training 0900-1200. 

Please provide children with packed lunch or money for lunch on the mountain (we can arrange a lunch deal in on of the local restaurants). 

Afternoon technical free-skiing 1300-1500. Make sure your child has full area lift pass as we can explore the full PDS area. Pick up 1500 Les Crosets.

Development - have trained with us before but not regularly racing

Competition - part of a club team in UK or abroad and racing regularly

Sunday - Thursday we will be training on the Lindarets Stade, introducing Slalom and Giant Slalom courses, as well as drills and skills development.  There will be some sessions spent out of the gates, working on technique whilst the sessions in gates will focus on tactics and line. 

On Friday we will all enter the local Fleche race on the Arare in Avoriaz followed by a team free ski, prize giving and lunch at Changabang in Avoriaz. All parents welcome to come along and support at the race that day and stick around for our own Peak prize giving at lunch. Times for final day will be announced at the start of the week but expect for kids not to be finished until after 2pm.

Pre christmas race training camp in Lindarets/ Avoriaz. 

Children will meet around 9.15am every morning at the Salle Hors Sac in Lindarets. There will be gate training in the morning and freeskiing/ allmountain skiing in the afternoons. Lots of focus on skills and development drills to improve technique out of the gates, and working on line and tactics in the courses. 

Training will finish by 3pm each day where kids need to be collected from the Salle Hors Sac in Lindarets.
